Dr Imane Nedjar, along with Dr Mokhtaria Bekkaoui, Mr Mohammed M’hamedi, and Mr Ramzeddine Abderrezak Adjim, led their Trya project to victory at the African Startup Conference’s GreenTech Challenge, securing first place in waste management. Trya valorizes coffee grounds, extracting oil for cosmetics and utilizing grounds for tree compost. A digital platform connects cafes and collectors, rewarding both with points redeemable for incentives.
