Welcome to the second cycle engineering training department
Dear students,
As Head of Department of the second cycle of the Higher School of Applied Sciences of Tlemcen (ESSA-Tlemcen), I would like to present to you an overview of our department and our commitments to your training.
Our department’s main mission is to offer you excellent training leading to the State Engineering Diploma. This training is offered in various sectors, including Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, and Electronics, constantly evolving to respond to technological advances and the socio-economic needs of Algeria.
We also offer Master’s study opportunities in several sectors, thus opening up academic career prospects and the possibility of becoming a doctoral student.
Within our department, you will acquire essential skills in areas such as Electronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, embedded systems, Renewable Energy, Management, Industrial IT, etc., while preserving a solid foundation in exact sciences, such as physics and mathematics, which are fundamental for an engineering school. Project management, communication, as well as learning English are also an integral part of our training program.
The department offers various learning methods to enrich the educational experience of students, including concrete projects such as mini-projects and PFEs carried out in the FABLAB laboratory. In addition, it encourages learning in practical internships by collaborating with socio-economic partners. In addition, accelerated training courses in partnership with scientific clubs are available to deepen students’ knowledge. These approaches aim to prepare students for professional challenges while strengthening their academic skills.
