Director of the Higher School of Applied Sciences – ESSA Tlemcen
The Higher School of Applied Sciences (ESSA) Tlemcen, in its institutional project, has demonstrated, through its strategic priorities, its commitment and determination to achieve significant levels of technological development through the quality of its training and its applied research strategy. These objectives, centered on the school’s commitment to social responsibility, are integral to its public service mission and constitute a core challenge that must be applied to all of the institution’s activities.
ESSAT is committed to innovation and technological development, enabling all talented individuals to successfully pursue high-quality scientific and technological studies. Project-based learning is central to its activities. Closer ties between the school, industry, and the local community are key drivers of this strategy. New avenues for pedagogical innovation are geared towards this objective. The approach adopted within the framework of the school’s strategic plan focuses on the training and success of our engineering students and encompasses all the processes and activities that contribute to this goal.
Brilliant students and qualified teachers, supported by dedicated staff, work together in a stimulating and ethical environment to develop practical technological solutions to address industrial and societal challenges. The projects developed are often interdisciplinary, drawing on multiple skills and involving different but complementary specializations, all aligned with the initial training of the engineering students.
Committed to its effective integration into society and the necessity of continuous improvement, ESSA Tlemcen has adopted two slogans:
Success for all at school
In the race for quality, there is no finishing line
