The launch by the Directorate-General of UNESCO, of the call for applications concerning the 2026 edition of the UNESCO-King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education, which focuses on the theme “Reinventing creativity and critical thinking with artificial intelligence” and for which two (02) winners will be selected and awarded with an amount of 25,000 US dollars each.
The said Prize was created in 2005 with the support of the Kingdom of Bahrain, its objective is to reward the projects and activities of individuals, institutions, other entities or non-governmental organizations whose models of excellence, best practices and ingenious use of information and communication technologies aimed at promoting learning, teaching and educational performance in general.
In this regard, our country, as a member of UNESCO, is invited to submit up to three (3) nominations by May 8, 2026, online and through the National Commission.
